Charity Auctions
If you would like some more information on how we will run your charity auction please go to the Contact & Enquiries page
It is a major responsibility organising an event to raise funds for a worthy
cause or charity usually close to the organiser’s heart.
The Entertainment
Along with making sure things all run smoothly on the night is a very
difficult task and has a great bearing on the atmosphere and how people enjoyed
the evening. So, why do people decide to organise the auction themselves?
(having no real experience of the pitfalls of carrying out a live auction). This
can cost them hundreds (if not thousands) of pounds towards their charity. We
provide a fully professional NO COST service that suits your requirements:
1. We are not like the many faceless internet sites promising a service they
cannot deliver and providing un-certified memorabilia from unscrupulous sources
only for the organiser to suffer the complaints and consequences casting a
shadow over the event. Remember, as an organiser you have responsibility for the
items people bid on in good faith.
2. WHY US? We own a Framing and Memorabilia shop that you can actually walk in
and talk to us, “YES” talk to and meet us in person . Take a look at all the
items we make and discuss your requirements, views and ideas to make your night
a resounding success.
3. If you cannot get to see us in person, you can browse our website and get
a feel for the items we can make or supply from our extensive range, for your
night. Whatever it is, given time we can supply virtually any certified
memorabilia, we have our finger on the pulse and, get many of our items at our
own or joint signings in person, including Wayne Rooney, Sugar Ray Leonard, City
Legends Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Joe Frazier, Roy Jones Jnr, Martin Johnson – the
list is endless. Whether in our stock or through our extensive nationwide
network of honorable and trustworthy connections. We frame and design all our
own items so, enables us to auction quality memorabilia at an affordable price
raising more funds for your charity.
4. If someone has donated a signed shirt, boxing glove or any other
memorabilia we can come to some arrangement with the framing, keeping down the
cost yet maximizing the value raised through auctioning the finished article.
Jane had a signed Ricky Hatton picture donated for her Hospice charity auction,
it raised £60. Danny organised a fund raising night for autism, he let us frame
his Ricky Hatton signed picture, the picture sold for £200 a
difference of £140 due entirely to the quality of the picture after it had been
framed.
5. How do you take payments on the night? What if someone needs one of the
larger items delivering? You are trying to raise money but, who carries lots of
cash round with them these days? We have a mobile credit card machine that works
anywhere. We can take any money on the night by cash or card.
Remember, the items we supply are probably the best in the country which meanspeople know they
will not get them again, and want them that evening. The amount of people I have
met who said to the organiser “they would pay for an item after the event”, and
the organiser ok’s it because they know them only to be let down, causing
embarrassment chasing the money and on several occasions not
getting it at all or, the item being returned losing the charity much needed money.
6. You have not used all your time and effort to wait for your charity’s money for months.
